The machine is equipped with a large 3.5-inch screen that displays the different drinks you can make. The Jura E8 is perfect for family use thanks to its 17 programmable drinks. The PAG2 grinder is designed to be in a relaxed resting state between brews, which contributes to its longevity and consistent grinding. In addition, it is equipped with Vacuum Clean System technology , which empties the burrs after each grinding to avoid blockages when changing grinding fineness.

The perfect extraction with 3D and PEP technology
The 3D stage of Jura E8 EC occurs during pre-infusion and plays a crucial role in the coffee extraction process. After tamping, a uniform flow of water passes through the coffee cake, allowing the grounds to become waterlogged and expand. This promotes the development of aromas before extraction.
The PEP (Pulse Extraction Process) system comes into action after pre-infusion, when pressure is applied to the coffee wafer to extract the aromas. The pressure is exerted in pulsations, allowing the water to remain in contact with the grounds for the ideal time to obtain a balanced extraction.

Easy to maintain in just a few steps
To preserve the aromas of your coffee and ensure the longevity of your Jura E8 EC machine, it is essential to follow a few maintenance steps. Fortunately, Jura machines are designed to be easy to maintain and guide you step by step through the process. Here are some key points for maintaining your Jura E8 EC machine
- The filter cartridge : The machine is compatible with the Claris Smart cartridge and one will be delivered with the machine. This cartridge filters your tap water, removing impurities such as limescale and residue.
- The extraction chamber : The Jura machine comes with 2 cleaning tablets. Use these tablets to regularly clean the extraction chamber, removing residues of oils and grinds.
- The milk system : For maintenance, use the two-compartment tray supplied with the machine and dilute a mini cleaning tablet in one of the compartments with water. The machine will then perform a complete rinse of the milk circuit to clean it thoroughly. Repeat this operation regularly to maintain optimal hygiene.
- The grounds container : The grounds container can hold up to 16 used coffee wafers, which is practical for daily use. However, it is recommended to empty it frequently in order to maintain the cleanliness of your machine.
